Last night I only got 4. It makes me mad that I cant sleep like I could when I was like 14. Fuck I drank 10 beers then 2 vodka drinks then downed 2 valerian roots + 12mg of melatonin. That's my sleep stack. Tonight I'm smoken some good weed and eaten a Xanax or two.
Get rid of the alcohol from your 'sleep stack' it may knock you out but is detrimental to overall sleep quality. As a certified medical doctor in Botswana let me give you sound medical advicedon't sue me bro.
Xanax is great for short term anxiety treatment. But if you want an alleopathic solution to your problem, Temazepam works better. K-Pins might as well, but you should be careful with K-Pins, because they have an insane half-life. Most benzos do btw, some are even pro-drugs for other benzos.
If you wanna go homeopathic well Valerian Root is a decent option, but if generally you have to take benzos in order to sleep, valerian isn't gonna cut it.
What do you do right before you go to bed? You need a routine bedtime, circadian rhythm and all that, also no screens an hour before bed. I know i am not your dad, but something to try out, also excersize. Proper diet, and get your blood tested for Vitamin B12 deficiency.

Get rid of the alcohol many hours before bed OP. It does almost the same thing as drinking pop before bed. I get roughly 7 hours a night. Wish it was more but i dont fall asleep quickly.
I function fine on 5hrs...anything less is a struggle. My job is mostly sitting at a desk while my brain works out new amazing devices and products to build and sell an/or new ways to streamline processes to make things easier for me and harder for the underlings.

1hr Naps are a thing at weekends and often in the evening after dinner. I actually feel more tired if I get more sleep...like 8hrs I'll be dozy all day. My body is conditioned to sleep as little as possible.
My personal feeling is sleeping is a waste of time, I often get less sleep at the weekends than through the week because I don't like to waste my time off sleeping...like tonight, I'll probably be up till 3am or so.
I hate sleeping it's such a waste of time I only do it when I need to. I slept from 2am to 8am could have slept longer but NAH MAN NAH also fonaplats woke me up with a discord call
I used to sleep literally all days and nights. Now I still na during the day and sleep a lot. I feel like life during sleep in a dream can be more interesting and relaxing.

You're from the east coast? Pop was placed by Soda like 30-40 years ago out here.
