That's right!
It's Fun Day at work today.
Something no one asked for or wanted or is even looking forward too.
What is Fun Day?
Fun Day is when the company buys some BBQ and lets us eat it 14 hours later.
We get an entire hour to goof off.
We have a corn hole game without bean bags.
And some crappy plastic dart boards no one cares about.
The best part is that it only lasts for an hour in the middle of the shift and everyone will have to get back to work.
If they gave a fuck about us having fun they wouldn't have cut so many of our weekends short earlier this year for no reason at all.
Also they would have just let us leave an hour early today instead of fucking with us by giving us reheated beans and fly egg bbq.
I do not plan on having any fun at work as I never do.
Best case scenario is it won't be raining and I can just go outside and smoke cigarette after cigarette while shit posting on NIS.
Some people will no doubt try and take a nap for an hour but that to me would be the worse thing to do.
What a nightmare it would be to wake up at work.
Chances are a lot of people probably won't even show up tonight.
Anyways, I am trying to figure out what I'm going to do with myself all weekend.
One of my friends mentioned hanging out and playing video games.
Might head to the grocery and pick something up to try and cook.
I guess I don't have any plans really and I shouldn't care.
I'm not trying to waste my whole weekend sitting alone in my apartment but I am also not trying to go out just to spend money.
Woke up a bit earlier than I have been today and currently enjoying my coffee.
Today was the first day all week where I actually got a good sleep and I feel well rested.
Winter is right around the corner and has me freaking out a little bit.
I am not as prepared as I would like to be for snow.
My shit car runs more and more like shit which actually puts me off from fixing it as I'm just not sure it is worth investing in.
Money isn't doing too bad but I can't find my financial planning chart that had all the goals on it and what I should be working toward.
Been sorta busy busy with so much these last couple months just trying to figure out living alone and what I am doing about my crappy job that I haven't had enough in me to take on much extra.
Soon I am hoping to be working on fixing up a house and making extra money on the side.
I expected to be working on that house months ago but paper work got hung up with lawyers and here we are almost into winter and I haven't got to start yet.
Sucks because I do not work well in the cold when I can't feel my hands.
I'm not trying to be frozen and uncomfortable making a buck but I still am looking forward to it anyways if just to get it done at this point.
There is nothing else new in my life at the moment.
Time to start getting ready for work and if I have time I am going to try and get a little extra done around the apartment so I have that much less to do this weekend.

Im finishing my breakfast and going to head to work.

The bbq was okay but they only gave us these little bitty plates so everyone had to grab 2 or 3 plates.

I've been thinking a lot about how much has changed since just the beginning of the year.
Without doubt I am in a better place yet at the same time Im not happy enough yet to say I am where I want to be.
The important thing is that I have made progress and I am still working toward my goals which makes me feel good about myself.
Right now I am texting with an old buddy I haven't seen in a couple of years in hopes of rebuilding my social life.
Maybe I need to go to a party or something.
It's been a long time since I was in that scene but now that I dont drink I dunno...
Hoping to come up with more to do.

The boss started a "pool" for the Houston Astros playoff games...if the Astros win and you pick them you get $20, if Chicago wins and you pick them you get $10. Possible 5 games, I already won $20 for last nights game.

Woke up an hour ago.
Drank some coffee and got new insurance.
Probably going to Goodwill to pick up a cheap keyboard and mouse to set up a Minecraft server with.
Tried to refill a prescription but they want me to jump through more and more hoops.
All I take is a placebo...
