Is that like the ants in Africa that people crush in plastic bags and snort the vapor?
Insects have a very large amount of chemicals, pheromones in them, their whole world runs on smell. -

The bed bug buzz is an Internet myth started in 2014 by a parody of a local news broadcast on the dangers of dabs. -

According to the video, kids are seeking this bizarrely new habit because it is a cheap way to get high from the hallucinogenic substance (PH-417) supposedly contained within the small critters.
The video uploaded to YouTube on 7 Apr 2014 was first published on LiveLeak by a user named John Cain, whose profile states, "All of the videos that I post are mine and made by me." In his blog posted on the same day, John Cain confirmed he made the video out of his imagination, editing old videos and acting like a reporter. The video was in fact based on an edited version of a real, but old KNXV-TV report on the dangers of ‘dabbing’ (inhaling butane-extracted hash oil).

2017-04-11 at 1:52 AM UTCI'll bet 100 bucks the people who insist it is a myth never even smoked a bedbug in their entire lives.

He just didn't want to get arrested by the feds. -
2017-04-11 at 2:03 AM UTCAnd for the OP, if you want to know what's best to feed bedbugs, they like fresh blood, so you could keep a buncket of fresh blood for them to eat from, or you could throw an arm or a leg into their enclosure once in awhile and they'll be fine. Unbeknownst to many people, bedbugs can go six months easily without eating anything, so you wouldn't really need all that much fresh blood.
