Put your dog on a carpet or bath matt of towel and get him to the vet, Fona. It could be something like pebbles from eating stuff off the ground over time. One by one they swallow small rocks out in the back yard. Building up and blocking 5he digestive track.. it mimics cancer tumors in the stomach but can be removed with trying hydrogens peroxide that causes the dog to violently vomit it up. Don't use epicat syrup, can kill a dog.

But the dog might have more time left

If it's a lap or toy dog it could live to be 20 years, middle size dogs usually 12 years unless it's a retriever. They're 8-10 on average however mine Goldie lived to be 15. Big dogs maybe 6-8.

What kind of dog or if it's a mutt then by size.

A pittbull lives 12 on average but suffer with stomach and breathing because of box noses, they can't chew their food so many people put their Pitts down because they suffer after 7 years of age.

I learned this from a vet.

I’m sorry buddy I hate seeing an animal sick and not being able to help.

Literally makes me want to drive whatever animal is sick to the vet and start dumping 5k stacks in the desk until they are healed but unfortunately sometimes there is only so much you can do..

You have my condolences fona and the world needs animal lovers because too many people would smash ur dog or cat on the side of the road and just leave it there and not think twice

    Literally makes me sick

Lol ya that’s pretty fucked too as you can literally take one trip to the fucking food stamps office and get a few hundred bucks to survive on a month

Unless your a total idiot like I used to be and (hypothetically) trade all your food stamps for drugs

You have much deeper problems than I can help with if you eat roadkill and sell your food stamps though lol, if you do this plz seek professional help lol

My dog is sick still but was showing some small signs of improvement.
The problem started 2 and a half years ago when I found a golf ball sized tumor on the side of his neck.
Now the tumor is the size of a kid's basketball and has made it's way under his neck and I think it is just so big and in such a bad spot that it is causing him problems.
I wish something could have been done about it when I found it but the vet said unless I was going to take him to OSU and pay $10k I should just make him comfortable.

If you do have to make that hard choice just be strong and be there for him at the end. Everyone is different and deals with loss differently.

My boy was a peace keeper his entire life. He would not let anyone harm anyone or anything. I have found a great deal of closure and comfort by planting a new olive tree at his grave.

We buried him right by where we sit on the porch and even laid some sod so he has a cool grassy spot in the desert. The effort, time, and thought put into constructing his grave was a big help in deali g with the grief.
