Fyi there is a long sequence of numbers molded into every tire and its the last 4 digits that indicate the date it was manufactured. Now you know. -

if they are legally able to tell you that their tires are only good for 1 or 2 years they would.
it benefits them for you to constantly change your "expired" tires more than it benefits you.
also you will not read any forensic vehicular accident report citing 'expired tires' as a cause of accident. -

go buy some dry rotted 12 year old tires and drive on the interstate -

1) ok dont just take my word for it.
2) lets be fair and scientifique here, do you have, or have you seen any tire research data that arent funded in part or in full by the tire industrial complex that support the hypothesis that tires that are over 10 years of age arent safe to be used.
why the magical number 10 ?
was it a mere coincidence or were these rubber compounds engineered to last exactly a decade, and if yes, why not more ? why not less ?
why are truck tyres engineered to last just as long as car tires despite having radically different constructions and compositions ?
i'd srsly like to see the results and data of any and all clinical studies on tyres and their degradation over time.
