Their music is haunting. One of the few 90s bands I still enjoyed that stuck around after the death of grunge which was a stupid name for a genre. I prefer the "Seattle Sound' which got coined around 1979 before someone coined it grunge in 1990 or whatever fucking year it was

After the 1960s San Francisco sound died off for Progressive and Punk/Post Punk etc.. many hippy families moved to Oregon and Washington to live on communes and former musicians or their kids grew up on farms and developed a new more contemporary sound.. this also spread everywhere but the story I got was Portland Oregon eventually was t
Pushed up to Seattle looking to get a bigger audience. By 79-80 when Hollywood had bastardize punk music and mixed it with disco (everyone started hating) that true music fans could find solist in The North

But then Atlanta Ga was also a huge music scene.. the hippy deep south B52s then REM and a slough slew whatever started to grow in the peach state ..

And of Austin Texas had many hands

Radiohead is one band that captured my dark empty soul. Haunting renditions of dream like brainlets spilling outward. Smashing Pumpkins though obligatory was a second third along with the pixies

Boston had some good bands as well. Mission of Bermma, The Cars..

I'm feeling sad right now. 😞. <--- inserted sad face

Frala what other post Lenard Skincare southern Alabama, ga post punk groups existed not mentioned?

Also I realize Radiohead is British. The north western UK and Ireland mainly was the Manchester sound as well as the obligatory Londoner faggots.

STFU Scron. You been posting horrible music lately.

Old OG rap on TOTSE was acceptable but this pop-rap auto-tune stuff is non stop shit.

Even Coup was very creative with some old 80s rap 808 beat with some jazz insturmental sampling while much stuff today pumped out is just punishment to the ears.

That sounds like something a fat, stupid, lazy person with no shoulders would say.

If I wanted to hear a bunch of whiny british fags I could literally talk to anyone from britain. But I don't so I don't.

Radiohead is p good. Amnesiac was a legitimately interesting challenging album. They are one of the few bands in the 20th+ century popular music that’s seriously tied to be experimental in the mainstream.

Oh yeah, this is better than standing still at a Radiohead concert!
