These usually precede a fog bank coming in. But also could be a storm burning off. I missed those bizarre hot years we got from 2015 to like 2019. Cept the fires and smokey months. 5 years in a row. Sep 2017. 106 degrees in San Francisco.never seen before or since. 103 the following year.
The bay was cold and dank this year but it might hit close to 80 today in Oakland by noon.

I was waiting to see a Doctor and parked in the outside parking lot near a tree. the fuckers made the trunk of the tree their home. I was using car wax to run down on my new car and buffing it into the car I just washed up the street at a carwash and the tree made a perfect shade to do it under (since the sun will make spots and smears). and it was an instant bees wax body shine and the bees wax set off these fucking yellow jackets. I got pelted but then realized, Ohh its time to go see my therapist.
a half hour later I come out and they're just going ape shit on my car trying to sting the shit out of it. just a massive swarm and I got in on the other side and they were trying to sting me in my back through my hoody jacket.
one got in and I dont thin he stung me but bit right under my lip and I smashed him against the dashboard without his stinger getting into me. fucking wasps or hornets or whatever the fuck Yellow Jackets are. they look kind of like Honey Bees. about the same size but are like the hood rats of the insect world.
