   But if you wash and sterilize your nails before cutting them you can get one last digging in.
   
   The proper thing to use is a tea kettle with a spout or a neddy pot. Don't use table salt or tap water (table salt burns so fucking bad)
   
   You have to heat up saline water. Use distilled water from a store and they sell special salt packets. Then tilt your head and pour from the kettle or neddy pot the salt water mix into one sinus cavity and it will flow out the other nostril. Switch sides. Don't try and force the water out but gently snot rocket it out without closing the other nostril. Just do both nostrils then close your mouth tight and blow it out the same time slowly then plug a sinus with your finger and slowly snot rocket all the boogers and loose boogers out. It can speed up the healing process of a cold by a few days cleaning infection out.
