Indian summer in the Bay usually starts around start of second week of Sep to the end of third week of Oct. About 6 to 7 weeks long. It's usually the time hotels are 80-100 percent filled to capacity in SF. It's a peak season.
Compton used to be were wealthy blacks lived in the 60s and didn't want projects built for poor blacks and others on gov subsidy but LA placed low income in Compton making it California's most violent city. It's the same size as Oakland but twice the killings. Oakland is pretty bad but Compton is compton-bad
Stockton is pretty violent too.
It used to be farmland in the 30s. 8 had relatives from Compton 100 years ago. Tripped me out when I found out about it.
