Except he wasn't even a junkie and only casually binged drugs. I heard he was doing meth more regularly near the end and that likely lead to his death but he was more addicted to sex than any mind altering substance.
When I talked to him drugs were always an after thought, he would always bring up some schlammer he was chasing. One of the reasons we became friends in the first place was because of our mutual interest in chasing slammers.
