If the system doesn't even make a pretense of being open then smart people just won't go along with it.
"Oy vey misinformation" ... where are the debates, the statistics, the free and open discussion? The whole thing is sketchy as fuck and people don't like being openly bullied into accepting something as true. People don't like some jedi suffocating them "but it's for your own good goy".
Personally I think people should get vaccinated, but I say that despite official information, not because of it.
