Some people steal an item that costs, say, $150, and then leave and come back and return it for $150+tax. Or they check the parking lot and nearby trash cans for high-value receipts, go in and grab the exact same item, and then walk right up to the service desk and get a full refund + tax for it.

Go to a bar that has the little hooks underneath the bar rail for ladies to hang their coin purses from then sit next to them and take it and leave.
I didn't suggest that though I'm saying you could do that but its a negative thought and I release it now.
