    Steve is 6' 4 3/4" tall.

    That is 76 and 3/4" times 23.5 Steves = 1804 (rounded off) inches divided by 12' = 150.3 feet.

    Seems kinda high to me.

Maybe you were referring to Midget Steve rather than Jiggly Steve.

Well opey that depends if youre falling onto a big bag of air, a pit full of sea sponges , or concrete. And if you have a thin cockazoid skull or if you're built FORD tough

I depends how you fall, not how high. Many people have survived total parachute failure. Freefall from thousands of feet. Other people have died falling three feet off a ladder. If you don't land on your head, you have a good chance of not breaking your neck.

If you were parachuting and your parachute and backup parachute somehow came off and ripped away, leaving you with no chute at all, how would you try and land?

I fell 23 feet in the dark and landed flat only breaking my hip and shoulder blade.
My guess is 60 feet just to be safe.
I feel like anything less and you might not die right away and end up suffering.
Now, if you were to fall on a bomb I suppose only a few inches.

They say if you're freefalling thousands of feet, don't aim for water. Water doesn't compact at all, so it will be like hitting cement. They say slant your body in the direction you want to go, and aim for areas with dense trees, soggy ground, swamp, or rooftop.

Also, if you splay out your arms and legs, you can come in on a 70-80 degree angle, which lessens the impact, causing you to bounce off the ground and providing a chance for survival.

From 36,000 feet, you'll have about three minutes to make your course corrections.

Average person who falls from the top of a 5th floor of a conventional size building "12 feet between floors" so 60 feet is enough to kill 50 percent of adult humans

the chances go up to 99% if you initiate the fall with a shotgun blast to the face

Less likely to bounce to your death that way though. It deflates the air out of you.
