I am horribly addicted to skyblock minecraft because the idea of player markets, bazaar, auctions like in runescape is lots of fun to me and takes up all of my free time.
I've never played a gatcha game i think, don't really understand how they work but I am hebrew with my currency and like doing exploits to make big bucks in game thats my main grind in anything i play
it's "gacha" not "gatcha", like "haha I gotcha you fucking retard" it's "GAAcha". some jap shit. there is a market for genshin accounts but sadly you have definitely passed the prime period for rerolling accounts with diluc/mona in them in the early days. I bet some people made thousands of dollars doing that shit.
there absolutely is unobtainable shit every patch, the cycle goes free weapon -> free character -> weapon, the weapons are exclusive and some of the best you can get for being f2p, some of them event competitive in whale territory. this is why the best time to start is right now. if you spent no money on the game but played since launch you'd have some of the best 4 star characters and weapons in the game and could field a team just of them and fuck everything up.
although like I said, really worrying about character strength isn't something that doesn't matter until many hours in, if at all (depending how hardcore you want to be).
