So far all modern China has ventured has been a couple of infantry divisions, and they've wiped ass with what has been sent against them (eg. Indian army regulars). That was in a limited engagement.
China just does shit way faster and way better than we can.

There will never been all out war between the superpowers ever again. It's simply not going to happen because the global economy is way too integrated. China is a big part of that. But similarly, China absolutely economically relies upon the US as a market.
Neither China nor the US want war and both will do every single thing possible to avoid it. There's just too much to lose and nothing whatsoever to gain. -

the US would have to go to war with china when the world arrive at the juncture of whether to adopt the RMB or USD as their sole reserve currency.
