You know kid you should try listening to industrial music sometime instead of that pop punk garbage

You posted psychic tv once, though you should know they aren’t industrial, it was acid house and psychedelic rock.

Smoke some crack and listen to this

I don't see how your shitty emo rock is "economic activity concerned with the processing of raw materials and manufacture of goods in factories." compared to this

NIN and Ministry are Industrial Rock and Industrial Metal, those are post-industrial genres and have nothing to do with Industrial music the genre.
You should listen to that TG vid all the way through to get an idea of what Industrial music sounds like.

Originally they were going to call their record label “factory records” but Monte Cazazza said it sounded stupid and suggested Industrial since Gen kept using that word.
At the time there weren’t really any independent record labels so to release something you had to join a major label.
They started Industrial records as a way to get their music out and to be in full control or everything, to be part of Industrial culture was to value independence and individualism.
This is why there are bands like Cabaret Voltaire and Clock DVA on the label, not because they made music which you would call Industrial but because they carried out the ethos of Industrial culture.
What is know as industrial today is music influenced by industrial culture.
