There are vast fortunes passing hands for covid testing and covid fussing in general - anyone who had any sort of PCR testing lab before this all started is now unbelievably wealthy. Consulting companies are renting out staff earning a few hundred a day for several thousand a day for track and trace work. The UK has spent something like £30 billion on testing and tracking, an unbelievable sum for a mild flu like illness.
The media are also getting paid off too, all that public safety advertising is keeping them profitable, although the media is a cheap whore and the sums involved there aren't even worth mentioning.
In a war you wind up with a war economy, and no one who matters wants peace. We have a covid economy, everyone wants more covid, especially since it's harmless. No one is dying, besides some old fuckers that would heel over from a gust of wind.
