Cyber security thread: What is the situation between American and Chinese hackers

  1. #1
Is it only huge clusterfuck epic battle that keeps men at the edge nonstop all day or is it boring and there’s just teams of people sitting on their asses all day bored

I imagine a hacker war between China and the US would be like a never ending mmo battle

It's a complex situation and i'm not part of the intel community so i don't have very much to go on. By virtue of my OSS work i have the opportunity to speak with some people who are intel adjacent but NDA's are a thing so what i do hear on occasion is far from the complete picture. To the best of my knowledge there's a bit of an asymmetry between the CCP and US Intel. The CCP is very much focused on espionage of all sorts, corporate, governmental and surveillance of Cinese nationals and dissident groups based out of the US. The CCP does a lot of HUMINT as well, which is a bit like the spy stuff you see in the movies.

Another notable thing the CCP does is work with sentiment analysis, and sentiment manipulation. China is very keen on controlling how the world perceives them and takes active measures to try and influence people to see China in a positive light(Sentiment manipulation)

China is very good at information warfare. Traditional SIGINT as far as military intel goes is something the US is good in. But that is only one strategic area of interest when it comes to this concept of cyber war, while the CCP fights on multiple fronts as it were. Unfortunately i don't know enough to say whether or not the US Intel Community is equipped from a counter-intelligence perspective to defend against the CCP's style of conducting it's cyber/intel operations.

U.S. dissident groups or anti-Chinese? Or both?

Anti-CCP. It goes so far as keeping track of Chinese people who may be sympathetic to the CCP, just to keep them in line. US Dissidents are just convenient for China in terms of destabilization efforts on the US home front.

all this bullshit hard/soft/firm/nigger ware that intrusively emulates reasoning, decision-making, problem solving, perception, linguistic comprehension, and other mental processes that these tweaked out sociopathic geeks i'm sure have been counseled by agencies that their emulation mega-projects will become the property of conglomerate entitys that appears to me the nerds contracted by these branches of i.T. firms are bribing their contracted amphetamine-abusing yet gifted individuals takingtheir computational mindframing to the next level under with the conditioning of $125,000+ salaries along with 'fresh & bloomed' eurasians' to 'play horsie' with to ignore the fact that their work will be used slowly but surely be used as a non-ethical tool to induce annoyance and the disruption of the mental health of u.s. citizens and niggers.

im nuts so don't take my observations seriously.

You're almost bang on the money. However emulation isn't the word i'd use. There are systems that can emulate the results of running operations of certain systems and programs, and/or predict outcomes given enough data to work with.

"reasoning, decision-making, problem solving, perception, linguistic comprehension, and other mental processes"

Plus emotional states are exactly what is analyzed in sentiment analysis, and weaponized in sentiment manipulation. The corperate/goverment merger with regards to such technologies in done on purpose, so that the intel agencies have access to foreign and domestic data. If the US government can outsource breaches of the constitution, or straight up illegal activities they will do so. kind of like how USAID is an 'NGO' but actually a front for the CIA.
