Shrine to Malice.

Do we actually have pictures of malice? Someone must have saved them. Let's make a weird shrine. It'll be fun trust me.

Thread inspired by random band recommendations. I usually ignore those, but damn.

Shrine of Malice pretty lit. if you're into metal that is.

Kind of feels like Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth had a love child. Black metal? Black metal.

Let me rephrase that: Can you say the same while telling the truth?

The living should never be used to serve the purposes of the dead. But the dead should, if possible, serve the purposes of the living.

That's a good quote but i am not sure i agree entirely. What about traditionalism? Or cultural heritage?

I'm not sure I agree with it either.

On traditions and cultural heritage: I genuinely miss Malice. We never really spoke about much to each other, I'm sure he considered me as a sort of insect, but I very much enjoyed reading about his life and experiences. I hope those posts are documented somewhere, so someone else can enjoy reading them as well. But to enshrine him? That is a little much. He was depressed and he killed himself. Some might consider that to be inspiring but it just makes me sad. He had a place here, and when he left here he left us with a void that will never be filled and eventually even that will be forgotten.

What about the few dozen members who died in the past few years and contributed more to society and were arguably more human than malice?

Yeah i wasn't that big a fan of malice and his cat fucking fetish but he did bring interesting and alternative content to ponder over.

I agree with the general sentiment of this thread. But i feel as though his suicide impacted me disproportionally not compared to you guys but to other people on here dying, i actually had somewhat of a rapport with malice and when i found out he an hero'd i was pretty sad. Reading the Coroner's Report was a pretty surreal experience. I was a bit perturbed for a few days after. Maybe i still am.
