Pretty sure crypto prices are bottoming out

They're way down the high, but I'm still in the money, as I bought at the right time back in 2019. It's easy to be negative when each time you log on you're down money, but we still have $30,000 bitcoin and $200 monero. Seems like the right time to buy in is around now. The whole financial thing is ready for some major uncertainty. Buy and come back in 18 months and see how you have done.

chances of profiting off crypto are significantly higher than winning even small prizes on the lottery

If you want to make money off crypto you need to be willing to sell, and then watch the market go higher without you.

I was going to sell back when my crypto was worth about $4,000 or $5,000, but I didn't, as I knew I'd go crazy watching the market go higher. I hodled, and now it's worth something like $1,500. Very approximately.

I also bought stuff with it, like stuff from fasttech. It's not too bad, since I spent like $1,000 buying in, so I'm up on my money, and I have 10 or so chinese e-cigarettes I need to get rid of.

I spoke to someone in Kyiv who sold crypto and bought one of those fancy Audi Jeeps (about €80k) for his wife. Dunno if I approve, but apparently it was her dream to have one.

That's because it's a currency and you aren't supposed to do that. The speculative crypto market is entirely a product of government regulation.

Apparently there were rumors Amazon was going to start accepting crypto, but why would they? I do believe they have something set up to accept crypto if they ever wanted to though.

hindsight is 20/20 but i regret not holding onto my bitcoins when i had around 80 of them in 2013, i wouldve been a multi millionaire and been able to move out of this fucking shithole permanently and never work again in my life.

oh well, even with just 14 its gonna be worth a lot in a few years so im not complaining. even 30000 was unthinkable a few years ago.

REliK uses Monero for ransomware payments. Which is a good idea as far as i am concerned. Tangentially related but you offload your Monero into BTC and get your BTC when you need a cash injection ya feel.
