   they're all pretty similar unless you get one of the ones with a controller, ie. corsair/thermaltake etc.

   Also what about white levels and the brightness
   
   I’m worried about just stepping into this blindly especially considering these are chink shit brands

   RGBW just means RGB + white
   
   IC I think means individually addressable, ie you can change the colour of individual LEDs vs only being able to change the entire strip at once. what patterns you can make depends entirely on the controller or if you can make your own (it's not hard, can do it with an arduino and a 5v power supply)
