It is fun to be pedantic. Remeber the pink spyder leso? Ah the good ol days -

It would be nice to do something like this but pay uber drivers to drive around with powerful transmitters, hijacking signals, and then keep switching the signal off when the fcc gets close, only to switch on another moble transmitter, so they have to keep driving around.
Pay drivers anonymously, and they have no knowledge theyre participating in anything illegal.
Make the fcc drive in a giant swastika formation, and record their flustered facial expressions. Then gang stalk them afterwards -
2021-07-22 at 2:34 PM UTCSpeaking of whole word typos(a type of brainfart) that is where i got my user name.
I was listening to a thai artist that was samples by the butthole surfers, and accidentally replaced kunst with kuntz, the butthole surfers song.(while researching the kunstschutz during world war 2)
I decided to leave it when i realized and it became a sort of inside joke which not many here would understand. -

Kinda vague on the details as never listened but definitely remember the announcement.
Concord California, Concord High radio could be heard all over Contra Costa County. It was one of the best Rock stations in the tri valley area around Mt Diablo.
They have an FM transmitter he can play with like for Halloween broadcast on FM510 or the lowest range. It's like 200 feet range I think -

2021-07-22 at 3:01 PM UTCMan, im really diggin the idea of a simple fm transmitter i can simply plug into an audio jack with no bluetooth required.
Way better range than bluetooth due to the longer wavelength not being nearly as picky about obstacles and distance. I like music but i cant stand bluetooth speakers with all their flaws and i have access to tons of fm/am receivers to play the music on.
Ill probably make some of these
Edit: btw FM transmitter circuits are not hard to put together even the more fancy ones

Now im excited. *glee* -

I'm interested. Make a YouTube tut
I'm tired of getting bt switching In Traffic. Shutting mine down. I get the nameless Mac connections but how do you find the mac addy on handsfree device on a car? -

Thats beyond my scope.
Edit, if you get some cheap digital calipers, you can make really nice stencils. The minimum between traces is 0.007
The idea is that you use the stencil, and the cellulose paint or other adhesive non soluble non corrodable material goes into the gaps and protects the metal so the electric current only etches the non painted parts of a copper clad board.
Its not as precise as chemical etching but with most projects you wouldnt notice a difference in quality.
Edit2!!! Also, ,.. A regular sheet of copper may be better(the thickness doesnt matter as much with these circuits) since the fibreglass sided ones are a huge pain in the ass to cut and will dull any blade quickly)
Edit; you can coat the whole circuit in wax or the clear casting resin on amazon to protect from static and add rigidity -

2021-07-22 at 3:42 PM UTCWhat happens if during Halloween someone runs a same transmitter. Does it crossover. Can you lock it down somehow to a speaker?.
Or is this idea for camping away from interference? -

The laser one? Interference would require line of sight.
The panel can be placed in a container with a narrow opening soas to reduce possible interference from sunlight and such.
Edit, i went on a rant about lifi being more secure than wifi, the pros and cons. Right after, the US army started using lots of lifi connections.. It can also pass through a faraday cage, whereas wifi cannot, making some of the hardware at least resistant to EMPs -
2021-07-22 at 4:23 PM UTCA pi zero with lifi, no built in 2.4 ghz capability, and a faraday cage, plus photo cells to detect ingoing and (more importantly) outgoing traffic, with a blue LED for in and a red for out. Like a simple light based packet sniffer, but rather a detector so if anything suspicious is going on, youll know, as the processor is not connected to the detector and simply lights up with outgoing traffic...
So the detector, unlike a packet sniffer based on software on the same device, cannot be monkey'd with or remotely shut off.
That should be a pretty secure mp3 player.
Edit; also, i was thinking about the side channel that can bypass a faraday cage in air gapped caged systems using the system clock's magnetic field(light and magnetic fields can go through faraday cages while wifi cannot) and i thought, you could do something similar by encoding the various RFI that unintentionally gets leaked out on almost every device.
This could be used to leak sensitive info without going through 2.4 or the internet at all.
Ughrhdhieufhdnjdies
Too much coffee. But really not enough
A pure magnetic field is short range, but rfi isnt.
This could be a good way to stealthily transmit. Unless some suspicious person with a realtek is nearby, its unlikely anyone would notice, although the data transfer rate will be slow -
2021-07-22 at 4:37 PM UTCSo if anyone drives around low income apartments in indiana they can locate hiki with a realtek, while hes transmitting.
There are obviously easier ways, but theyre not as fun. -
