anyone ever been there? It's a little area in Copenhagen where the cops agree to let people be "free" which means you can smoke weed there. However you're not allowed to take pictures or use any other drug, because even though the residents of Christiania brag they're a self governing community, they're still afraid of the police from Denmark coming over into their land and arresting them. Really it's just a community of stoners who let their place fall to shit in the name of art. I didn't get any of the positive vibes people talk about. I mean when you're buying pot from a guy in an armored vest with a mask on, that doesn't seem very free and that definitely sends me super bad vibes. If you wanna smoke pot in Denmark just dip in an alleyway real quick. No need to see christiania
