That is also a good point. Most of the evidence of religious customs and culture is because someone was "divinely inspired" or "prophetic" but obviously that's bullshit. I have a hard time believing something if I can't replicate myself like science.
I find drugs to be a pretty consistent tool and that most people that take a lot of psychedelics or at least some of them because real religious/spiritual nutters and jesus freaks later in life or maybe thats just a result of the combination of drugs and upbringing. -

I don't see how just saying "FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER LOL YOU MADE THE CLAIM GOD EXISTS NOW PROVE IT" does anything to contribute to a serious discussion about theocratic theory. It just seems like ego stroking to me and the confidence in peoples belief is the same thing that turned me off mainstream religion in the first place.
If so many people are so confident about something so "easily explained" by a simple picture/meme they are probably wrong. I don't see how believing "there is no answer, stop looking" goes against a belief in God.
"Atheism" has become as much of a religion as any dogmatic based mainstream one. Like if you say you believe in God people are like HURR DURR WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DIE THEN????, I don't know. Anyone that says they do know is probably wrong. -
