I remember this version of aol. I for sure had it or 4.0. Not sure if I ever had 3.0 beforehand but I remember donwloading or having the cd roms of 3.0 and right away updating to 4.0 but i dont remember if i was around the aol era of 3.0 or earlier.
Which I fink is interesting because outside of the U.S. I dont think anyone experienced aol or this era of computing online. AOL was like what internet should be today it was self contained you opened up your computer and have all these beautiful options from chats to groups to games etc. nowadays i only have this and that polak forum and nothing to do.
I remember at the time when al was big there were a crapload of chats i hang out at the dreamcast chat for like a yr the yr it came out and it was there like a yr before it did. also many women and underaged girls in the chats they had no cops or cops stings at the time im sure many of lucky guys met some of em and had fun.
