ZOG seizes various .com domains related to Shiite Islam

The US has seized the domain names of Iranian state news agency Press TV. It also seized Al-Masirah, a website owned by the Houthis in Yemen (the people fighting Saudi Arabia), as well as dozens of other websites from countries as disperse as Iraq, Azerbaijan, and Nigeria whose common denominator was that they were owned by or connected to Shi’ite Islam.

Apart from displaying the Biden administration’s continuity with Trump-era policy on Iran – as in many other things, both as regards domestic and foreign policy – this also constitutes a pretty significant confirmation of the thesis that the era of the Open Internet is over and its bifurcation along national and civilizational lines is inevitable. -

2021-06-24 at 8:43 AM UTCI was going to post about this yesterday but I wasn't sure whether they were actual domain seizures or if it was cheeky hackers - has the FBI actually acknowledged doing this yet? there were a few things I noticed that were unusual and didn't match up with regular US betabet soup domain seizures

Maybe the word to do it came from a non-usual source? Seems to me the obvious suspect would be some Biden admin jedi salty over Israel's recent defeat in Gaza.
Doing this right now is like when the US cockblocked Huawei and cut off their software and chips, it doesn't seem smart or well thought out, more impulsive, bitchy and weak. -

I mean technically, I looked at PressTV's domain last night and it didn't look like it'd been updated - direct links to articles (ie. presstv.com/article.htm) worked but the main page redirected to a static jpg, indicating that the actual server had been messed with (whois information appeared untouched).
in terms of the US' MOA I don't think it'd be the FBI that normally deals with this and it was strange that Shi'ite media outlets that weren't directly linked to Iran got hitThe following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Could be a DNS based caching service that kept serving after the backend got severed. For instance when setting up a site with cloudflare you change your DNS records to redirect to them - meaning that requests can sometimes never need to actually reach your origin web server. -

That's because the department of commerce[DoC BIS] is responsible for US businesses and individuals not trading with nations that have been sanctioned. Or at least keeping track of matters related to that mandate. -

Yeah but in the case of domain seizure the request wouldn’t even get as far as cloud flare because dns resolves to Langley or whatever. -
