Too logical for you to read?

Yeah, we know how hard it is for you Republicans to read long articles.
That's why they are long. They keep the riff-raff out.
Bigly.

DHS official told lawmakers there's concern about Trump August reinstatement conspiracy theory
Joseph Choi
A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official told members of Congress on Wednesday that there is concern in the department regarding conspiracy theories that former President Trump will be reinstated in August, Politico reports.
Sources familiar with the exchange said top DHS counterterrorism official John Cohen shared these concerns while speaking in a members only briefing with the House Homeland Security Committee.
Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) reportedly asked Cohen how DHS is monitoring the spread of disinformation and conspiracy as well as how they fuel violence, specifically pointing to the Trump reinstatement conspiracy theory that has become popular among QAnon followers.
According to Politico's sources, Cohen said that DHS had not found anything linking violence to the conspiracy theory that Trump will be reinstated, though he did say the department was following online discussions in extremist communities.
Cohen said that DHS was highly concerned about the conspiracy theory, however, as it fuels the narrative that the election was rigged, which could in turn spark violence among extremists.
The Hill has reached out to DHS for comment.
A Hill-HarrisX poll released last week found that 30 percent of Republican voters believe Trump will be reinstated in August, though there is no legal or constitutional maneuver that could feasibly return the former U.S. president to office in the midst of President Biden's own term.
Trump himself has reportedly told acquaintances that he expects to be reinstated in August.
Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) said earlier in June that the large number of Republicans who believe this conspiracy theory is a "glaring warning on the persistent acceptance of the stolen election narrative."
"They believe him when he just abjectly lies. It is a glaring warning that the Big Lie has created fertile ground for all sorts of insane conspiracy," he said on the Senate floor, referring to Trump's belief that the election was stolen from him.
"Of course, the idea of 'reinstatement' comes from disgraced former President Trump himself and is nothing more than the deluded ramblings of a defeated politician," Schumer added.

It funny how these clowns genuinely believe they can shut people up. If they just flap their lips enough, if they just get outraged enough, if they just cry and whine on fake news networks enough, people are finally bound to stop talking. News flash dummies: nobody's going to be shutting up about anything you want them to shut up about.

So Pole
Did you hear that there’s no chance of Michigan or Georgia doing a recount? Sounds like your plan is falling apart. I bet this Arizona audit is the last. These people are viewed as conspiracy freaks, and the general public know it’s a farce. Can you tell me why they took the ballots to Montana? They’re just asking for trouble.

Imagine how stupid you'd have to be to think you could steal a national election and walk away happily ever after.

500 arrested in Jan. 6 Capitol riot, including first charged with assault on media member, Garland announces

The Justice Department on Thursday arrested the first defendant in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots to face charges including assaulting a journalist, as the total number of people arrested topped 500, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced.
Garland praised prosecutors, agents and the public’s assistance for reaching the benchmarks, adding, “I assure the American people that the Department of Justice will continue to follow the facts in this case and charge what the evidence supports to hold all January 6th perpetrators accountable.”
The department announced the arrest of Shane Jason Woods, 43, of Auburn, Ill., who was allegedly recorded tripping and pushing to the ground a police officer who had been sprayed with bear spray. Woods later entered a media staging area, threw equipment and tackled a cameraman, prosecutors alleged.
Woods was scheduled to make an initial appearance in federal court in the central district of Illinois on Wednesday afternoon on eight criminal counts including assault, assault on a law enforcement officer and impeding police in a civil disorder. Information about his attorney was not immediately available.
Prosecutors in January announced they were investigating threats, targeting and assaults aimed at several members of the media, including several against reporters and photojournalists as tracked by the U.S. Press Freedom Tracker, a coalition of free-speech, news media and journalist advocacy groups.
