the reason you're so poorly informed is because you refuse to even consider anything outside of your echo chamber.
the majority of Americans are retarded and have no business talking about anything beyond celebrity gossip - it's not just Americans, but Americans in particular have this bizarre belief that their corporate news couldn't possibly be tainted, even though every major news organisation is owned by the same five or so companies and the overwhelming majority of their leadership is comprised of a tribe that represents around 2% of the country's population.
every cable news channel is primarily entertainment rather than informative as that is what the market dictates, not just the ones belonging to the party you don't like. have you ever even seen a US news article or segment that was not heavily editorialised? -
