My mother is a rare species of way to happy most of the time. she'll have a weird meltdown for a bit but then back to her cheerful self.
I just have nothing left. a slight moment here and there. the long winded type is to generate emotion. or I just am raging. I see why old people you see as a young person is always that "I look this way because I've been through it all" look. sure, I never been through a war but I have been through more than my share of all the other Bullshit.
I'd go back to heavy drinking but knowing how you feel hungover I'de probably murk myself.
do you write down goals, and identify the steps you need to take to accomplish them? i started reading about happiness and doing a few things they suggested. i would say it helped me improve my mood quite a bit in just a few weeks

I only look forward to being regular and able to poop first thing in the morning. and then stare out the window and touch the window pane to feel its coldness to remind me that we'll all die one day and be cold as this window feels. stiff. rigid and cold. just like glass. just like the glass you touch as you stare out into the world.
