It's a good game but I don't play it much because I find it too hard to "make plays" (rust is where I first heard the term) using a bow as a naked on some geared people. It's fun but playing it solo I find to be very boring. Every server gets taken over by groups or small squads of people and they wreck any solo -

Got to find a low population X times server. I was on a 1000x server yesterday griefing this guy with a massive base who said to me it was impossible for me to get in...36 rockets later (and many kamikaze runs with the minicopter) I was in his base loot room taking his 2700 explosives and 158k scrap while he teleported out and was whining to the admin about it. DELICIOUS VICTORY. -

2021-06-07 at 10:04 PM UTCMan I haven't played in awhile but I heard half an update is coming out... which is sort of what demotivates me from playing, I figure why bother playing now when I know new stuff is coming out down the road and I'll have to start all over again then. But apparently this or the next update will solve that issue, looking forward to it. Just been playing RDO and GTA lately.

I kinda feel the same way, posted a thread with all the content that is in the update, it's a bit lack luster and kinda fucks the game with chunk generation because most people would rather generate NEW caves with copper rather than old caves with new blocks in them.
I thought of a good solution that could work for an existing world, only generate chunks in ONE direction so you can still get the new stuff without totally shitfucking the world.
