brown bears spotted in bay area

Last week they have seen black bears in the peninsula area which is rare but not unheard of yet now larger brown bears are in the east bay about 20 miles east of Walnut Creek
Howcome these things are creeping out all at once? Someone spoke of reintroducing grizzlies into nor cal and wolves but that was up near the oregon border near shasta.
Blackbears are usually timid but might snatch a pet or small child. Brown bears will attack.
Its like waking up and seeing wild turkeys one day. Theyre everywhere now. I never saw a wild turkey in all the years growing up here and theyre all over berkeley now. Bears like to break into cars and trucks if you leave food out -

Wildlife is being brought here. Had they never killed them off in the first place they would have adjusted through the years. Reintroducing them wild and the stress of suddenly being near people and people not used to wildlife could become a much bigger hazard -

I said brown bears spotted not spotted brown bears.
Besides, spotted owls live mostly on the coast north of the bay, we have burrow owls in the bay. Not the same species of owls.
That being said, if you see an own, youre not supposed to point at them to other people. Pointing them out may cause a pray bird to swoop down and pick them off for food. I found that image to be hilarious af. There is a sign illustrating it at the berkeley marina. -

I'm asking you because I couldn't find a single story of brown bears suddenly appearing in the bay area. Just one story about a black bear the other day. -
