Depending on what lean the ship has, and the perspective of the viewer, it can appear to be several ships moving together, but it's really very large space vehicles shaped like triangles, with only their running lights showing.

yeah, they can travel at the speed of light for hundred and thousands of lightyears thru the dark of space but needed navigation lights on our primitive earth.

They do have lights which i have also pointed out in the past as seeming pointless but they may use them to blend in or understand red lights means a star is moving away while blue or greens is a starlight moving towards. Scientist discovered this and it maybe a universal travel law so other space crafts dont collide capable of moving much faster speeds

In contrast, the light from a star moving away from us seems to shift towards longer wavelengths. As this is towards the red end of the spectrum, astronomers call it redshift. -

Earthlings chose red and green prior to knowing about doppler shift and green is used to this day. So maybe aliens think we're colored blind -

Trillions of trillions of them. In some of them, you move one inch in one direction, and then flip to this one and find out you've travelled a million miles. In others, you move a million miles and only move an inch in this dimension. It's a playground of scientific motion. -
