Is that we'll have learned absolutely nothing from it.
Through lockdowns and border restrictions many parts of the world discovered:
- you don't need mass migration to keep economies running
- a hell of a lot of people don't need to commute to an office
- tourism degrades our quality of life
- strong, decisive leadership managed to all but stamp out the virus in a few parts of the world. (I wonder what other problems could be solved this way...)
Sadly, absolutely fuck all will be learned from this disaster. People will be back commuting to work to sit on the fucking internet, shit-tier human beings will be imported en masse to do menial work, everywhere nice will be full of gross chinese people with cameras.
This was a major opportunity for Mankind to re-examine all these stupid myths we live under, and we fucked it up.
