Woman’s decomposing body found partially eaten by her cats in Madrid apartment: police
    Nelson Oliveira

A strong odor inside a Madrid apartment building led to a gruesome discovery that has shocked neighbors and even police officers.

Cops investigating the strange smell last month found an elderly woman who had been dead inside her home for months — with her body partially eaten by some of her cats, Spanish media reported over the weekend.

The woman, identified as 79-year-old Clara Inés Tobón, was found early last week in an apartment filled with trash and animal feces, police told daily newspaper El Mundo. Five of her seven cats were dead inside the home and police believe some or all of them ate their owner’s flesh before dying from starvation. The other two were in poor condition and were taken to an animal protection facility for treatment, according to the paper.

Tobón’s cause of death has yet to be determined, but her neighbors reportedly suspect she had been infected with COVID-19 because she had been ill. They also believe she may have suffered from Diogenes syndrome, a behavioral disorder characterized by domestic squalor, hoarding and extreme self-neglect.

The Colombian national lived alone and was often seen feeding stray cats or collecting food from trash cans around the city, her neighbors told El Mundo.

Her apartment door had been locked the whole time, so firefighters reportedly used a window to get inside. An officer with the country’s National Police, which are investigating the case, described the scene as “the worst thing” he has ever seen, according to the report.

It's funny that you would call anyone else an NPC when you are not even an active participant in your own life, let alone the community at large. It's hard to become less of an adult male than you are "littleJapanesegirl" who's actually a 30 something cock nosed Midwestern virgin NEET

You seem to fear both growth and reality. Gotta make it hard in the future when you have no idea how the world works. If you were of even average intellect you would have retained enough to navigate but it seems you are still lacking alot
