Casino style "Party Bus" shot up. 2 dead updated. but many people were injured. possibly more deaths (Lets hope not).
Oakland crime rate was dropping below it's usual half of around 100 a year. I think it hit upper 40s one year which is a big improvement of gang related murders (or killings in general)
this is some fucked up gangster style shit. watch it turn out to be something not gang related but mass shooting or something crazy. I dont want to suggest only gangsters could do this. Virtue signaling and all.

I just realized that looks to be Eastmont Mall. I think there is a police substation there. Crazy part of Oakland however it took place on the Highway prior to the bus driver exiting Seminar or whatever the exist it called.
We used to go to Eastmont Mall as kids. it got edgy over the decades. just saying.

Also Oakland isn't a million plus people. it has like 680k people. its a Small city compared to LA or most major cities. I mean Chicago has like 500 plus murders a year. yet how many Millions live there? its like a large district of Chicago. so the mumbers per capita sadly are close.. or used to be. and Oakland's crime was dropping, lots. at least Murders and Assults. but of course, car break ins and shit have risen. I think people would rather have their Car jacked over themselves or their kids, family, friends.
