I wouldn't really call it wrong though because it's impossible to make 99.9% pure desomorphine in a clandestine setting. But mine was VERY pure it took 5+ years for only minor damage to my legs compared to the people whos entire limbs rot off within 1 year.
That's a success in my book.

The people on bluelight figured this out in 2012. Krokodil is not some magical flesh eating wonder drug.
What they didn't understand though is that the nature of the compound, boiling point and its solubility makes it very hard/impossible to properly purify unless you have industrial medical grade equipment. I would put it at maybe 85% at the very most is what you could get it, the rest being extremely toxic impurity that could cause permanent damage if consumed.

It's rarely purified and quite often injected. The left over iodine, hydroiodic acid etc eats tissue very rapidly and since deso is a painkiller it's a lot easier to ignore than e.g. meth abuse damage. The east european Krokodil users are very desperate beings.
Pretty much anyone that works with phosphorus and iodine has that happen at some point though it's not that unusual.

I lived in a remote mountain farming town with no access to real drugs.
