2021-05-14 at 8:20 PM UTCWhat does a soviet 220 outlet look like?
I need to know what type of plug my 486 computer needs.
Thanks. -
2021-05-15 at 2:55 AM UTCLike any other European outlet? We all use 220. Murica is the outlier. Like with most things.

Only reason the pipeline company got hacked was because the hackers figured they'd get the ransom fast due to it being critical infrastructure. I'm not as familiar with the details as i would like but it doesn't take a galaxy brain to pull of a ransomware attack. -

No. The reason i mentioned ransomware attacks aren't rocket science was to preempt any talk of nation state actors. Nation states tend to focus on gathering intelligence through cyber attacks. If they were to do a critical infrastructure attack they would most likely do it at scale. So, coordinated and on all targets available to them. That's how you cripple a country. Which is what you'd want 1) because it disrupts your enemies communications and supply line in advance of a real life military attack and/or )2 you want to take out your enemies' capability to retaliate. -
2021-05-15 at 4:51 AM UTCIf you want to get deeper into cyber war, we can, but it gets very complicated very fast. If you're interested though i got books on the subject.
