the best character was hands down the guy the US government had chosen to be the new captain america, but of course he was too white, white men are always angry and violent so they had him lose his temper, chase down and murder one of the terrorists in public after the terrorist leader had just killed his friend, this was intended to make the audience think he's unhinged and unfit to be captain america but all i could think was fuck yeah, i would have done the same
the terrorist leader is a strong, cunning woman who manages to outsmart the US government and the heroes for most of the show and it almost begs us to find her sympathetic, after she's finally killed off at the end by another strong, smart secret agent woman since none of the male characters were willing or able to stop her, the new black captain america literally tells everyone to stop calling them terrorists even after they've blown up a building with civilians inside, set fire to a truck with civilians inside, etc., then stands in front of a senator and goes on a long political monologue 'i don't understand these problems, i don't know how to solve them, but you have to do better, just do better'
can't believe i actually sat though the entire shitshow, half of it was about black captain america and his strong, smart, mechanically knowledgeable sister trying to fix a boat for fuck sake
i stopped wanting to watch the latest shit that comes out of hollywood after i saw an illegal copy of the last terminator.
