   Any fans here? I tried to enjoy him when I was younger and still learning about music as an art, but couldn't really appreciate him before growing up some. I can't think of any artist so influential who approaches such a complete breadth of emotion, I honestly never considered his mortality real. I was raised to think of his name as a religious utterance in the home and while I'm not so strongly affected, it's still a bit of a shock now that I go back and listen to his more timeless work.

    ^Same, I couldn't give any less fucks than I do about David Bowie. His music sucks, like the beatles, and most of these other famous, iconic bands and artists.
    
    Before anybody gives me shit though, I DO enjoy classics. I just enjoy different classics. Like Vivaldi or Sinatra. I've got a folder with nearly a GB of music from the 30's-50's.
