   I really went into this show reluctantly thinking this was gonna be a stereotypical super hero cartoon "but with some blood because we are edgy and mature!" to cash in on the hero show trend.
   
   In fact it's actually an excellent show and really isn't afraid to deal with how gruesome superpowers really would be in terms of their effects on normal human bodies. Plus a lot of the gore is used in service of the story.
