He's real, just not right in the head so a lot of it comes off as rushed, hurrieed, and fragmented as you pointed out.
Likely just a thinning of the mylon sheath that's resulting in nueral pathways getting crossed so he thinks his toaster is a sex toy and shit.
It happens to a lot oof older people, soon he'll start "waking up foor the day" at 5 or 6pm
