   black market costs roughly reflect a cost of production with a fair markup. The problem with economy of scale in a black market is that you would need dozens of gigantic illegal production facilities working around the clock which doesn't really work in an illegal market.
   
   I knew people that tried to do it before legalization, they had unlimited capital, property, trusted employees and even paid the big bucks to have their products tested in a lab. They sunk lots of money into it but never really got anywhere because at the end of the day it's illegal and you can't just deposit the money in the bank and pretend like everything will be okay.
   
   The only time I have ever seen consistent low priced good weed in a black market is outdoor because it's a lot easier to grow industrial amounts. The people I sold bulk nutrients to were spending $10k just on fertilizer and these
   
   
   
   Each brick is enough for like 30 plants and people would order entire pallets of them and have to make multiple trips with a flatbed truck.

   Yeah, I'm not saying they just make up a bullshit price. Its just an inefficient business model and its awesome to see an efficient one in action. A lot of the hemp stuff I get comes straight from the labs or farms that make/grow it. They always have the best quality and price. Buying from a shop or dealer just sucks by comparison.
