They were used during the Falklands lark and destroyed the Argie Bargie Mirage shit. There is one video out there somewhere Top Gun style where a mirage is chasing a Harrier...Harrier basically slows down and stops, the Mirage flys by and the Harrier drops a rocket on that French tickler bottom...scratch 1 bogey....

You fought in the Falklands? I kind of remember that. Actually you're younger than I am.. so I guess you didnt. at least I think you're younger than I am.

I remember Prince Andrew getting attention. now he's getting bad attention. of course no one is following up on it. Is G-Max still breathing?

A REAL MAN's war, none of this dropping bombs from 35,000ft and then running away.

i mean it was stolen from the germans during wartime and backdated to the 30s to so that they could claim it as theirs.

Of course they're going to China. Going to sail around a little before getting there, but that's their whole reason for leaving port.

There's something pathetic about the Brits sailing around with a boat full of American planes trying to convince everyone how totally still "relevant" they are.

I hope the Chinese develop some way of sinking carriers with plausible deniability. Pop-up coral reefs or robotic krakens or something.
