and the old style harrior (spell check) of vertical liftoff has been adopted from what I understand as well. but those aren't used on ships during battle as much as coming into a fixed location for ground fuel if needed on a battle field.
Some of the old aircrafts still serve a purpose. like the old Warthogs were used in the Middle Eastern War. they had the ability to swoop in slow and carry a massive load of ammo for Gatling guns I guess. these things spit bullets out so fast that it looks like lazer fire.
I never been in the military, just shit I watch on youtube History channel. im sure I could be corrected on some things. but it seems fairly straight forward -
