Really, getting mad about what humans do to each other is one thing, have you ever tried getting mad about what humans do to the world? We're shit, and we're turning this planet into a shit-hole.
jedis and Abrahamic religions believe in a linear timeline, so they see a world with a clear beginning, middle, and end. Therefore they don't give a fuck, because they believe the world has an end goal, a return of a messiah.

The trick is to be selective in what you let yourself feel strongly about. A lot of things are beyond my control, but a lot of things aren't as well. Focus on the things that are within your power to change and the rest, well, that's just the rest.
