Yeah, I'm an old and decrepit retired dude who replaced his own shocks and struts last year, troubleshoots his son's broken furnace on 3 degree Sunday mornings, cleans and checks his kids furnaces and A/Cs, repairs their toilets, replaces their water heater and their flooded expansion tank, Installs garbage disposers, repairs their door bells, repairs their non-functioning front yard light by replacing the top glass and light section and rusted out center wire conduit while adding a sensor for automatic day/night operation, installs outdoor GFCI outlets and flood lights, replaces light fixtures, installs ceiling fans and loves Judge Judy.

Nah those numbers are bullshit and it isn't 80% or anywhere near it anyway. I assume you're talking Moderna or Pfizer which had studies done on the strain of the virus that was around last summer. The virus is different now. The J&J vaccine has like 60-70% immunity and is a more recent study. They're likely all similar in efficacy. There are more recent studies being done that will show how efficacious these shots were with current variants, but we probably won't hear about it for months.

You're also severely reducing the duration it'll be effective for. I know I don't want to be worrying about this when the virus kicks back up during the 2021 holiday season and it isn't as easy to get the shots anymore. Right now is a good time to get them. Supply is going to plummet soon when America starts sending more doses abroad. We're like, doing really well right now compared to the rest of the world. One of the best vaccine distributions in the world. Europe is failing HARD right now and many in other countries can't get it yet. We are lucky as fuck to have this available to us right now.

My uncle in Mexico is a doctor and even he can't get the vaccine right now because he isn't 'emergency personnel'. Got other family who are teachers there. Nobody can get it. It's worth getting sick for imo. Unless you had any of the allergy symptoms I would get the second shot, but I'm not you. Getting my second shot next week.

My 32 year old daughter got her first shot this morning.

I think she said it was Pfizer.

Yeah nah fuck that "fascism" shit. Lay off the drugs, put aside the paranoia and try to apply some rationality. The mathematics of the situation supports vaccination across nearly all scenarios (COVID and otherwise) and supports the exclusion of those who refuse. I don't really give a fuck about your "rights", or my "rights", none of us individuals are as important as we think we are. The math is clear, and anything else is irrational and small minded.

the question in this case is with the 'vaccines' themselves because outside of the ones used exclusively inside China, none of them are 'vaccines' in the traditional sense. the two main types available are essentially experimental gene therapy with no long-term or large-scale testing, have exaggerated their effectiveness and are already reporting that the virus has mutated strains that they no longer cover... which is the reason we never bothered trying to make one for the common cold (another coronavirus).

it begs the question as to why there's such a push for universal vaccination against a virus with such a low mortality rate.

I'm booked in for a vaccine next week, only reason I'm bothering is because it's looking like non-vaccinated people won't be let travel this summer.

It's has nothing at all to do with any health emergency, and all to do with the trillions in profit to be made. The politicians are now nothing but BigPharma's new salesmen.
