I think this might be a worthwhile type of practice to have Lanny incorporate within the entirety of that of which does correspond with the manner of which things are carried out here at this website.
The biggest problem isn't a rule breaker. It isn't someone posting some sort of extremely controversial content in the name of humour & trolling, that might piss a few people off.
It's boring, run of the mill types of posts that subconsciously influence the standard that everyone who reads such types of things, does become affected by. People that pollute threads with worthless, waste-of-time responses of which are NOT interesting. NOT capable of inspiring any sort of interesting discussion &/or responses... (unless, in the form of psychoanalysis of such detriment within the character corresponding with such types of posts, of the types of people who post such types of crap, to be used comparatively for the sake of hypothesizing things... or coming up with ideas to improve things by getting rid of such posters).
Could I suggest that each person nominated for a perma-ban does receive a fair trial (type of thing) before it is decided on, and we look to see if anyone can find ANY example of a worthwhile thread having been created by whomever it may happen to be that gets nominated in this thread, and in the case that there is at least ... one? three, maybe? threads... that have IMPROVED this website, then the person who nominated them is automatically and officially understood as not ''way better than them''. and they do not get perma-banned...?
When these types of posters have their typed content appearing in SO MANY different & otherwise interesting discussions, it makes people bored and less content with the idea of staying. Less circulation of interest. Less metaphorical bloodflow to the more interesting tidbits on this site, some, to never exist because of Lanny not having already included a system like I am suggesting...
When these types of posters have their typed content appearing in SO MANY different & otherwise interesting discussions... it affects ALL of us… , unfortunately...
Let's step our game up.
-------------------------------
My suggested nominee:
Solstice.

I have no problem with banning Solstice, Grylls, §m£ÂgØL, etc.
This place has taken the "free speech" ideal to it's retarded conclusion.
