I have already accepted that covid is going to be around forever like the common cold. You should wake up and realize there is no end to this.
When I die there are going to be hundreds of strains in my body. Just like the hundreds of weird shit floating around in me right now that would kill any uncontacted tribal person.
We just have to learn to live with it. You can't just inject a drug to make all the troubles of the world go away, you people are acting like heroin addicts MUH JAB MUH JAB. -

Oh yeah? I should talk to the organization that administered it, see if/when I get the other shot. -

Some dufus on the Cartoon Network??? THIS is your example?
Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule is an American comedy television series starring John C. Reilly as Dr. Steve Brule. The show is a spin-off of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, originating in a segment called Brule's Rules. The series premiered on Cartoon Network's late night programming block, Adult Swim, on May 16, 2010.
The show parodies 1980s’ public-access television programs and follows Dr. Steve Brule as he examines different facets of living. His extreme and possibly pathological naivete and social awkwardness generally land him in embarrassing situations, though he remains largely ignorant of any embarrassment he's causing himself. As the series progresses, he reveals surprising and sometimes shocking details about his past and personal life. The series has completed four seasons of six episodes each. -
2021-04-07 at 7:02 PM UTCCovid mutates too rapidly to be eradicated with a vaccine. It's exactly like rhinovirus, you can't just "get rid of it" it doesn't work like that.
Feel blessed that you were born in a time with an emergent disease that will be around forever. You got to see the birth of a virus, it's beautiful in a way. The sooner people accept technology can't defeat nature the better things will be. Embrace and accept that death is a part of life. Take off the masks, open the economy.
If you just accept these lockdowns as normal for public safety you are gonna be doing it for the rest of your life. There will always be elderly people at risk. A few hundred years ago everyone accepted that you would likely die by the age of 50 probably to some horrible disease that nobody can do anything about. -
