The earth is hollow and if you tried going really super deep then you are just going to come through the ceiling of a 14 ft tall ant man who is gonna be pretty pissed.

Imagine if uneducated environmentalist smooth brains wouldn't lobby and stage protests every time a Nuclear powerplant is being constructed. Nuclear is the most efficient way of generating clean energy. And that's fission. Once we get fusion going we'll never want for energy again.

Nuclear energy isn't clean energy...spent fuel rods tend to be a "what the fuck do we do with them" problem and dirty things up.

Lol wat? They literally just store it in thick shielding till it loses radioactivity. It doesn't 'dirty things up.'

Imagine the potential for endless geothermal energy and the resources we could dredge up if we'd actually work on deep drilling rather than scooping up all the low-hanging fruit

i remember benny vader talking about sticking a giant copper pipe deep into the ground to pipe the heat up to the surface to run boilers to generate electricity.

the thing was called benny vader generator.

only because they choose not to label people who died with vaccination as people who died from vaccination.

I've thought that there should be a way to somehow be able to tap the energy of ocean tides or underwater currents with equipment that would be underwater and not even seen. I can see problems with overcoming the corrosiveness of the sea water and maintenance but still believe it would be worth looking into. Also, wind turbines farms far enough out to sea where they wouldn't bother people (or their property value and noise concerns) seems like something feasible.

I really like the idea that humans are legitimately scary to aliens. Just these super robust violent polluting beings that they see and immedietely nope the fuck out back to XG-133 or whatever. They don't want us to have their technology because we will abuse it. We literally pen sentient beings into grow-fields just so that we can eat their roasted and seasoned flesh. Cows cry on their way to slaughter.

Yeah I always tell people they don't visit because we are too fucked up and violent and hold nothing of value to them so they just observe, like driving through the ghetto with your doors locked

This is the most succinct and accurate description I've ever heard for this.
