I know some of us are like IT prooooos. So I am troubleshooting my issue of the day, I go to turn on my 10 year old labtop and it's not turning on at all. :/
I checked the power source , connected, disconnected it put it into another live outlet, tried plugging it back in, no battery to speak of inside of.
This labtop is kinda important to me, all of my porn is on there, StarCraft 2, my 3ds animal crossing, my resume, some of my business docs (business docs are bakced up, as is about half the porn)
I really wanna get it to turn on.
How do I do this.

I can still walk you through data recovery from a dead computer, but the remote access and dedicated file storage will have to be on your currently functioning computer though

This may sound crazy but try unplugging the charger, remove the battery then press and hold the power button down for at least 30 seconds then put the battery back in and reconnect the charger and see if it will boot.
